Photographer’s Note

Judaism grants a special status to the firstborn male child. In every home, the birth of the first child is a special occasion preceded by preparations and a sense of excitement.

The parents' attitude toward the newborn is usually one of awe mixed with doubt and hope that they are "doing the right thing."

With the birth of subsequent children, the feelings are more settled, and preparations become more routine. The special excitement and wonder accompanying the birth of the firstborn male is captured in Judaism in the special ceremony for the redemption of the first son, pidyon ha-ben.

Wzruszające spojrzenie, dziecięca poza. Zgrabna czapeczka z napisem. Dobra głębia.
To pozytywy.
Ale całość zbyt cute. Do mnie słabo przemawia. Jak mawiał klasyk - wytrawnego wina nie trzeba dosładzać.

Co ten Janek o czapeczce zgrabnej i z napisem ?
Przecie ona (forma czapeczki) gra tutaj tylko role kompozycyjna...A najwazniejsze jest spojrzenie tego dziecka, ktore nie jest tylko skierowane w obiektyw, ale plynie gdzies daleko, w kraj marzen, dalej, poza aparat, poza fotografa...
Doskonale.

Piękny portret.
W tym wieku nawet ssanie palca jest dozwolone :))
Pięknie wpisuje się w całą serię - dziecko w religii (czy coś takiego). Podoba mi sie ujęcie (znaczy POV), w którym lekko ku górze spojrzenie niezmiennie prowadzi wzrok ku napisowi na czapeczce (jarmułka ?)
Żadne cute - moim zdaniem, chciaż dziecko cute, jak to dziecko :)).
