Driving back from The Dead Sea I was taking shots of the Judean Desert out of the car window to see what I found in them when I got home. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted movement and asked to have the car pull over so I could get some shots. There were 4 all togther traveling in groups of 2 (male and female).
This guy looks like he has one of his antlers missing.
The Ibex (mountain goat)is a kind of wild goat whose biblical Hebrew name is the ya'el. They are common around springs in the Negev and Judean deserts.
Did a lot of cropping to get a view of the Ibex. In th original shot he is almost a dot and blends in with the colors of the background. |
