Last week we had a pretty serious snow storm up north so a friend and I decided to get up early on friday morning and enjoy the beautiful snow covered scenes.

This is a capture of the wind turbines of Alonei Habashan as they peep out of the early morning mist.A total of 10 turbines were erected in 1992 and they use the wind to generate electricity that is then supplied to the surrounding towns.

Hi David, I like the mood and the mysterious cast/tones.... once I discovered the horses (?) on the lower right corner I had a much better sense of the scale, suddenly became much more impressive... regards, Daniel

Bonjour David,
beaucoup d'originalité ici, le brouillard qui masque ces éoliennes en ne laissant voir que la tête, c'est magique.
Des conditions hivernales que l'on ressent bien.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi David,
Well seen this image, which you could have caught in your good setting. The mist on this snow covered landscape and the wind turbines that appear behind, they give a mysterious aspect and with a great graphical effect to your composition.
There is a good contrast between the different tones, and a very special luminosity, which gives a great photographic result.
A nice and interesting work, my friend.
Best regards,
Josep

Man this is a hell of a picture, incredible ambiance.

The horses in the foreground gives the dimensions of the scenery, nice idea.

Misty and misterious!
I've never seen a cloud using propellers to fly :)

Hello David

Very intersting place and setting. Seing snow in a place like this is something new to me, but that just shows how little I know about the world.
I think this photo looks very good, interesting composition and a great effect with the wind turbines shrouded in fog.
Great work, thank you for sharing.
