Up the Snowy Hill Photo

Photographer’s Note

Today was really a great day to explore the outdoors, especially those areas that are covered by snow.

As a fantastic cloud on top of the hill created kind of "volcano" look, the little girl had a difficult time with her uphill walk on the snow, sinking into it with every step.

But it's great fun, of course.

You have snow in Israel?
Hard to believe, but your photo convinces me.
Colours, lights and shadows are great!
But the compo's a bit strange.
The left hand side would look really heavy but for the girl in red: she balances the picture.
No wonder she had a hard time walking up:
balancing a picture is no easy job :)

this is an interesting demo of the winter in middle east...yes, it's astonishing that there is snow down there in the mediterranian area while in mid/east europe we had just few days of snow this winter...yesterday it was +8C in warsaw and sun was shining beautifully...

Hi Daniel,
Good POV looking up, with a good perspective towards the wonderful blue sky with this so special cloud.
The hill covered by snow and its contrast with the sky, the trees and the little girl in red that is rising have a good chromatic effect, which gives a lot of strength to the scene.

Hi Daniel,

A nice winter scenery of the hill which is covered with snow. Same kind of weather thart we have in Canada at this time of the year probably in a bigger quantity of snow and colder. The point of view is leading toward the top of the hill. The photo is clear and precise. The picture is receiving a good luminosity which brings out the colors. have a nice day.
