Today's upload aims to summarize my impressions of the country of Israel. I chose this view from Mount Bental in the Golan Heights looking into Syria. The barbed wire surrounding us symbolizes Israel's need for security. The legal status of the ground we are standing on shows the uncertainty in the land: The Golan Heights were captured by Israel from Syria in the Six-Day War of 1967. They are internationally recognized as Syrian territory occupied by Israel, although Israel asserts it has a right to retain the area. Hostile neighbors around a young, insecure state is a recipe for conflict. The view also shows another reality on the ground. The Israeli occupied territory extends beyond the barbed wire. The delineation between Syria and Israeli territory is the end of the green area. The Israeli side is lush and cultivated. The Syrian side, with the exception of the abandoned town of Al Quanitra, is dry and uncared for.
İsrail - Genel İzlenim
Bugünkü yüklemem İsrail ülkesinin izlenimlerimi özetlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ben bu Suriye'ye bakan Golan Tepelerinde Mount Bentaldan görünümü seçtim. Bizi çevreleyen dikenli tel İsrail'in güvenliğe ihtiyacını simgeliyor. İsrail'in işgal toprakları dikenli tel ötesine uzanır. Suriye ve İsrail toprakları arasındaki çizgi yeşil alanın sonudur. İsrail tarafı yemyeşil ve ekili. Suriye tarafı, terk edilmiş Al Quanitra şehri dışında, kuru ve bakımsız.

I was on the Kinneret lake in 2008. I am waiting for your new photos from Israel. Original point of view to this familiar landscape through the barbwire on the FG.
I've sent to you a letter by e-mail.

Hi Murat,a beautiful view on a very unlucky country that i visited many years ago when the things were different,a green carpet of springtime and very good detail and colors everywhere, but unfortunately the barbed wire reminds us what's going on over there.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Stark contrasts in both nature and element. The first impression that grabs attention is the lush green landscape, and then...smack, the reality of barbed wire. I know it's looking at the world through rose colored glasses, but Rodney King said it best, "Can't we all just get along?" A wide open view that carries a strong and emotional connection with this imagery. A thought provoking result. Have a good one. Take it easy.
Friendly wishes from out West,

Interesantan tekst o mestu sa istorijom i opisom, lep pogled ...
Dobar trenutak snimka, kontrast i perspektiva, lepo pokazana bodljikava zica i dolina sa oblacima na horizontu, lepe boje.
An interesting article about the place with a history and description, nice view ...
Good time recording, contrast and perspective, well demonstrated barbed wire and valley with clouds on the horizon, beautiful colors.
All the best.

Les fils barbelés sont là pour rappeler la vie quotidienne et les fleurs des champs qui inspirent un aspect de liberté.
Quant à la vue générale, il est bien difficile de rester insensible à la beauté d'ensemble.

International borders are man made and should be dissolved to bring about real peace in the World. A very well composed photo with great use of light. The deep depth of field is perfect.TFS.

What this scene is, one of the best possible points along the Syrian border to look into this war-zone area.
Composed with the barbed-wire fence, a good idea to include, well done.
Actually it was many years ago that I visited this area.
TFS, and have a nice day.

a great elevated point of view, the landscape below is vast and you have captured it with superb definition that satisfies our curiosity but also raises questions. I like the variety of natural features, the depth and the colours. Your composition with a significant and impactful foreground is excellent, having to to look through the barbed wire feels dramatic, I guess this is the effect you wished to reproduce. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

ein wunderschönes Foto, sehr gute Bildschärfe, auch der Stacheldraht, (beim Militär war sagen wir dazu: Spanische Reiter???)
Ein guter Bekanter von mir ist am Golan gestorben, im UNO-Einsatz

A typical view of the landscape in that part of the world and looking at this, it's a security risk- it is an extremely military orientated area but surprisingly the public is allowed to get so close! and your wide shot is a sharp as the separating barb wire itself. But this is sick at the same time and without being political I just liked the way you have captured this with more depth of colour, adequate clarity and contrast. Well done, Tfs
