Chickens life is very short - not more than 6 weeks if they are grown for meat.
These chickens are lucky - they are grown for eggs, so their life are much longer.
Quality of life is another question..

Daily life of the chickens...;) Yes, when I worked in kibbutz, I came to know this side of life, only there were turkeys... Very nice composition and colours here, Itsik. The blur make an abstract shot out of this!

Bonjour mon ami Yitzhak,
Image surréaliste d'un élevage industriel. La présentation est originale, et donne bien l'impression d'une vue en situation des poules en train de picorer (l'action est parfaitement restituée).
L'oeil du maître s'est encore exprimé dans cette composition.

almost surrealistic, yes, but also scaring. there is this 'pattern repetition' feeling to it. poor workers.

Interesting photo, Itzik, I think with the blur it works much better than if it were pin-sharp, as this seems to be an artistic way of depicting the hectic and short life inside the narrow surroundings of the chicken battery. The simple limited color palette adds to the striking effect.
