[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Our time is short,
It takes a while to realize that
By the time we appreciate time,
Not much time is left

There are places, magic places
Where some people go to fish for time
Some spend a lot of time fishing with no success
And end up loosing more time

The ones that do succeed wouldn't tell
They keep it as a secret only to themselves
They say that the time the got
Is actually the time they spent fishing...

Hello,

I like the water effect...

Nice photo.

Hi Gilad,
Wonderful image - as one who goes fishing I can easily identify with the guys in the picture. As you can see they do not move a lot - concentrated, waiting - it's like meditating.
Nice water effect.

from the background fisherman and his two ghostly "clones",also from the fact the right hand side characters are frozen, I suppose that you've taken three different shots of this place and overlaid them with different opacity, according to the area you wanted to emphasize on.

Anyway that's brilliantly thought and made. A clever idea for those who manage to take their tripod with them (not my kind though....).

Inspirationnal.

Hello Giland,

With all due respect, Gilad...
What in bloody hell is that ???

Very well done Gilad.
Every now and then we get lucky with a shot that confuses the brain of many. Here the moment was right for you. The timed expsoure coupled with the filter give this photo a ghostly feel. It is a different, yet, not so different approach. A Aubrey Bodine has a dramatic timed expsoure of 50 floodgates opened here in Maryland...the same smooth and blurred effect...but, very effective...amazing really.
Good eye and nice experiment.
Chris.
