She came at the arranged time, the guy opened the gate respectfully, and she had the garden for herself...

The "Terraces of the Shrine of the Bab" is the official name of the "Bahai Gardens". The project was completed in May 2001.
There are 19 terraces that stretch from 1 kilometer, from the top of the Carmel Mount all the way down to the city (you can see a glimpse of it, it's the "German Colony" neighbourhood).
The shrine itself (the building with the golden dome) contains the remains of the Bab, the founder of the Bahai Faith. It was completed in 1952. The building was prefabricated in Italy and then shipped to Haifa. The dome has 12,000 tiles, fireglazed on golden leaf in Holland.
The Bahá'í Faith is a religion founded in 19th-century Persia, emphasizing the spiritual unity of all humankind. There are about six million Bahá'ís in more than 200 countries around the world. |

Hey Daniel,
Beautiful POV and compo, a wonderful motive - a kind of park I`d like to see. Well timed and captured, although the idea of the photo kind of gets lost in the enormity of the park, but no matter, because its very beautiful.
Enjoy.
