Haifa Baha'i Gardens
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| View from the top of the Baha'i gardens in Haifa. Opposite the golf lies the city of Akko, where the founder of the Baha'i cult was imprisoned. He used to stare out of the window of his prison and see the hills of Haifa (mount Carmel). His followers built the gardens in this place to honour that. I don't know much about the Baha'i religion, except that they recognize all other religions. More can be found on Wikipedia |
