The sea shore, a place where some stories end, and others begin.
Footsteps are like hints of what once happened, washed away in seconds, like small windows in time allowing just a short term memory.
The ocean, just like a giant eraser, in charge of refilling the battery of time in endless circulation.
Two girls with their own private piece of mind, split their footsteps in the sand, only for the sea to wash their mind of things

Haifa beach.
A day before the rockets began falling on Haifa.
Like short time memory, This was taken in a day that seems like ancient history at Haifa.
Nobody feels safe now, walking these same shores.

I hope that the sense of security will return soon to Haifa, and to Lebanon as well.
Stay safe, and keep believing in peace.

Thank you for the beautiful colours, composition and sentiments in this work, Gilad. Well done.

Shalom Gilad. Beautiful shot, exuding a kind of perfection, made all the more nostalgic by present circumstances, eh? Kids staying away from summer camp, sleeping in air raid shelters I hear...
take care of yourself,
Francis

Très belle composition..
T'as photo raconte tout une histoire..
On sent bien l'atmosphère de vacances et de jeu dans cette photo
Bravo
Bien vue
Vince

I hope so too...

Very good shot, Gilad, I like your high POV here, it was probably taken from a rescuers' tower. Nice composition with two girls, and a very successful vertical format giving a deep perspective.

Cheers
Alexander

Hey Gilad!
Indeed, amazing! Two lives living apart, but still are connected by one picture (and one country too...).
Very good composition that takes both of them inside, the and the mediterranean waves splashing in the BG...
Well seen and taken!

Shalom Gilad. Poignant photo in terms of subject matter and the current situation. To see these children enjoy the sea and sun and their childhood makes us realize how easily peace can be lost and terror take its place. The same goes for the beautiful Lebanese children also. That heart in the sand is really a symbol of what is needed in this world.Wonderful composition which speaks of happier days. Peace to you and your neighbours. Klaudio

Hi, dear friend!
It is romantic photo! Beautiful see and girl.
Marek

I love the carefree nature of this shot, as well as the colors and composition. The nature from which you've take the picture draws the eye both upward and downward so that you don't miss the waves, or the sand heart. Extremely well done. I love it.

HI GIlad, a beautiful shot with fantastic colours and lights!I like the story telled!!
