My Intro to Israel, Day 6, Scene 5
Israel Nature and Parks Authority manages Caesarea National Park which includes the ruins of the ancient city Caesarea Maritima ("by the Sea"). It is located on the Israeli coastline, near the modern town of Caesarea, about halfway between the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa. The ancient city and harbor were built by Herod the Great about 2513 BCE. The city was populated through the late Roman and Byzantine era.
The national park has a developed promenade with restaurants and coffee shops. To me, this was a strange since I am used to seeing ancient ruins preserved as faithfully to the original as possible.

The cat under the table looks to enjoy the amost from both the ncient site and the restaurant built there, having tourists on every new day...
This place is a well known location when visiting Israel, evidently some business placed there.
Hope you had seen the size and amplitude of the ruins of what was a big city some 2000 years back.

the colours and the atmosphere are so familiar, this view reminds me of Rhodes. I like very much the tight frame and the great sense of depth, there are diverse layers of interest extending ahead and vertically. The sea is a marvelous backdrop and the huge stone structure is a discreet and intriguing reference. The cat lying quietly in the foreground makes a cute introduction to the rich description. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

It may have been an non-traditional scene, and not what you expected to see here...but you sure made the most out of this setting. Love the idea to completely fill the frame, the bold colors really come alive in this squashed perspective. You've done a great job bringing everything together in one frame, but used a wise depth of field to keep them separated. I get the sensation of sitting there myself and feeling the slight breeze and mist off the water. Well done! Enjoy the rest of the evening. Take it easy.

a nice view of this vertical scene with the personages, the sea and the patterns created by the chairs. I liked the result.

t first view the chairs seem to be in a french restaurant, quite agree with you about preserving old ruins, resting places if possible must be out of them
Anyway a good composition given by the contrast with the blue sea at the back
* Thanks the WS, could you explain step by step how you did it, only know about, bright, contrast, and curves
