[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am leaving South America to bring some photos from my home country.

I found this scene a bit amusing: A shinning new Honda nestling under the almost 2000 year old High Aqueduct that lead water to old Caesarea. I found it also quite contradictory to see that shiny and clean lines of the modern car in comparison to the salt eaten stones that stand fast for 2 millennia and will stand much much longer after this car will be towed to the junkyard...

There are actually two Aqueducts that lead water to Old Caesarea: A low aqueduct that run waters from Alligator's brook, 5 km north of Caesarea and the High, which lead waters from springs in the Amikam area, some 17 km north of the old town. The high Aqueduct was built from three different sections: The first a tunnel, the middle an open channel and the last, this aqueduct.

Old Caesarea, and especially, this aqueduct, are a popular place for wedding photographers to take their client's photos with the sunset and the historical monument as a romantic background...

More on Caesarea on next posts...

Hi, Chen!
Very interesting photo! Nice idea with combination of retro and neo! I think this image would adorn the commercial of auto-concern!
Best regards
Peter

Hi Chen,
very good as some Honda poster and the light in the backside is very good...well taken!!!

imre

nice photo if it's an advertisement...otherwise I wouldn't put that car there.

Hi Chen,

I really like the contrast between the old and new that you captured here. Good use of filter and choice of B&W.

hi chen,
funny,
well arranged or seen (who cares what was the case) - b/w enhances the graphism of the scene, and unexpected, sort of wierd appearance of the car seems to be a good inclussion, certainly unusual,

Hi Chen.
