[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in the fishponds of Kibutz Maagan Michael.
Maagan Michael is located on the Mediterranean coast between Tel-Aviv to the south and Haifa to the north. It is an excellent area with fishponds that attract a host of wintering water birds and passage migrants, including large numbers of storks, pelicans, many species of herons and egrets and a wide range of waders. The latter are seen in large numbers and include scarcer species such as Broad-billed and Terek Sandpipers, Greater Sand Plovers with some records of Kittlitz Plover and Crab Plover, both extreme rarities in Israel. Migration periods can produce three species of crakes. Other much-sought-after wintering birds include Great Black-headed and Armenian Gulls and Citrine Wagtail are all relatively easy to find here.

After 'catching' some birds in my lens, I saw this view, the contrast between the yellow flower and the deep blue water was great and the late afternoon sun did a great work on them so I shot this picture, I hope you will like it.
The colours are for real, no PS manipulation :)

Such strong and contrasted colors you have here Elroyie. Thank you, this is really nice and it changes with the other autumn photographs we can currenlty see.

Nice to watch those sweedish colours -and its even taken at an autumn day.

Very simple, yet most attractive, Elroyie!
Beautiful colours and composition.
I wish the DOF was a bit deeper so we can have a glimpse of a sharp water surface in the lower left corner.
Anyway, even without it - it's a relaxing and tranquil capture!
