NW view from southern Mt. Carmel, a photo from Hadera, Haifa

Photographer's Note

At the end of the trail, hike through the nature-reserve of "Rmat-Ha'Nadiv", and just a foot away from the Roman-Villa veranda's, a wide area of the coastal-plains comes into view: here is towards the NW, and in the WS attached is towards the SW.
This is the narrowest place on the coastal-plains in Israel – only less than 4 km by air to the Mediterranean-sea.

Hello Ike,

The panoramic view of the coastal plains looks very beautiful and I like the inclusion of the cliffs in the foreground. The colors are very natural. The pale blue sky makes a nice contrast. The sharpness and depth are superb.

Hello Ike, Great view from the top of this mountain.t appears that some of that land could be agriculture. Is that possible? I really like the rock formations on the right side of your photo. I would assume that is some form of limestone. I have some problem finding time for photography as I play a lot of golf and spend time in our health club here. Thus I don't get out enough to take pictures. I am going to give it a go again. Regards, Roger

Hi Ike,
beautiful view with several layers of interest included. The rocky hill contrasts interestingly with the flat fields stretching behind. And there is another contrast of the two worlds: blue and green.

Good Morning Ike,

This shot, for me, is the better of the two for it shows the contrasts between the rocks and the grass, the heights and the low coastal plain, the fields and the wooded areas.
You have acheived a fine sense of depth, especially as the shot moves from sharp clarity into a slightly misty haze.

this is a composition structured well, with a few elements placed well in the framing, which we can see with a great sharpness, from the rocks in foreground up to the landscape of the coast and the sea, in a very deep image.
I like the luminosity and the smoothness of the colors, that they give a high quality to the photo.

This is the ideal location for a paragliding flight over the 4km farming plain for a safe overlook at Rmat-Ha'Nadiv and to photograph from a vantaged angle all that freshness by the sea.

A splendid view of this landscape, the type of which I would never have guessed was in Israel. Beautiful greens and blues and the rock formations look very unusual - are they volcanic? Excellent POV and I am glad it was you walking up that hill instead of me!

I was on the MT. Carmel. I remember that short subway too )). But it was night dark time and I have not seen this beautiful view from this mount. Haifa is one the most interesting cities of Israel, I think. Thanks for memories, Ike! Good shot!

Hi Ike,

You're capturing well this landscape from the hill by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the hill with rocks, coastal cultivated plain and blue/clean sea in the distance. And, it's impressive in greenery, too. Here looks like the place with rich environment.
