Photographer's Note

Two Melanargia-Titeas butterflies, having their good time on a thorn. An ant watching from the stalk...
A common medium butterfly in the eastern Mediterranean south of Turkey.
In Israel it is common throughout the Mediterranean region, the months of April through June. Wingspan about 55 mm.

Took the picture this morning in a trip through beautiful nature-reserve of "Rmat-Ha'Nadiv", I intend to post pictures later on the week, in the southern slops of the Mount Carmel.
