A common medium butterfly in the eastern Mediterranean south of Turkey.
In Israel it is common throughout the coastal-plains, during the months of April through June. Wingspan about 55 mm.

Took the picture this morning in a trip through beautiful nature-reserve of "Rmat-Ha'Nadiv", I intend to post pictures later on the week, in the southern slops of the Mount Carmel.
