[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last weekend we had Federation Cup fever here in Israel as the strong Russian team met with rookie World Group contenders Israel.The atmosphere at the Ramat Hasharon stadium was electric as it was packed to the full to cheer on our team (at times maybe a little too passionate) and of course to get a look at Sharapova and her team mates.

This here is Anna Chakvetadza ranked number 7 in the world and sadly (for us locals) on her way to over coming underdog Tsipi Obziler ranked 83.

Quite amazing that even at this shutter speed the ball isn't totally frozen.

Hi David, This is a very good action shot, with the ball clear & in motion, her eyes (as you say in the title) right on the ball, superb focus &, the colours & light are excellent, all that lets it down is the crop is too tight & misses off the racket, however still superb, kind regards Wilson.

Hi David,
I love this stunning action shot; the way you focused on all the tension in this magnificent athlete. The diagonals of her body are clean and sharp, the ball tells the story without needing the racket. I think including the racket would have detracted from the purity of this shot. Wonderful work!!

Hi David,
Great close-up photo. An excellent action shot of the tennis player. Great timing to capture the ball and the concentration on her face. The light is enhancing too and the green-pink background works very nice as well. Thanks for sharing!

Hi David,
As a tennis lover i can't resist let you few words on this one, this is truely a great sport shot, i love the aspect of it, almost plastic and i don't know if this is the result of neating here.
Of course it's sad you don' have racket but this result to a better zooming on her attitude, her eyes yes her eyes "never quit your eyes from the ball" shouted at me my tennis czech professor ;)
Amazing legs, incredible muscles, all starts from here in tennis.
Excellent one, really great ... i guess russia beat israel in the end ;)

This one is excellent too, David, with very nice colors, and nice frame with the thighs in the corner... maybe it'd been nice a little bit less shadow on her eyes (a little bit dark there in my monitor, yet it's possible to see the eyes concentrated on the ball)... well done, man>>> Daniel
