[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's a short walk along the pebble beach just north of the Apollonia archeological site; and you find the off-the-beaten track cliffs of Arsuf, one of the few places still untouched by man along the coast. Not for long, since a controversial real estate project may be implemented in the future.

In this case, though, it was that storm that came to disturb the peace.

Dainel,
Excellent shot! The lighting on the cliffs and beach form nice contrast with the dark imposing clouds. Your composition and POV are very good using the curve of the beach to lead the eye through the shot.

Looks like an approaching storm..Perfectly managed light..seems exposure is just right to bring out a well balanced saturation of colours..Love the textures of the mountains..so magical..

Hello Daniel,
nice the perspective of this pebbled beach with the cliffs to decorate the scene. As you perhaps know, Apollonia it's a Greek word, from the ancient God of Apollon and many villages in Greece have the same name, you can see here,
a lot of places that use this name and among of them and Arsuf.Excellent the colours and the light.

Beautiful colours in the water Daniel. It really does look untouched by man, especially with the dark clouds. It is a shame the development that might be hitting this site.

TFS,
David

Hi daniel

Perfect sharpness, & a superb colour contrast, between the cyan coloured sea, & the red toned cliff & shoreline. Tfs!

Hi Daniel,
This sky of storm is impressive and threatening, seems that it begins to disturb the peace and the beauty of this calm beach and of its cliffs.
Though only the storm should break the beauty of this place, for your note I think that soon they are going to spoil it with real-estate constructions.
Great management of the light and of the colors. I like it.
Friendly regards,
Josep

Hi Daniel,
nicely composed beach scenery. I like tints of blue colour in the sky and the water. With sand and stone it brings good contrast to the picture.
Best regards,
Stanislav

Hello Daniel,
When I saw the small one, I thought "is this Israel " ? Yes it is. But then certainly not in summer, this time I was right , because you have got increrdible colors of the storm. All colors are splendid and match so well with each other -
Keep well - Izzet

Hello Daniel
You did take quite a few shots in the cloudy weather. Nice light which creates a good contrast between the pebbly beach, the cliff with the sea & the moody sky. Well done!
Regards
Angshu

Hi Daniel. Very nice composition. I like the zig-zag created between the sand /cliff and the sea / sky. The stormy clouds look amazing. Regards, Yvonne

The impending storm indeed adds a lot to the feeling of doom that may be arriving soon Daniel. It's a shame that such a place of natural beauty may have become some real estate project. bb
