Photographer’s Note
the course of history, poppies have always been attributed important medicinal properties. The alkaloid rhoeadine is derived from the flowers of the Corn Poppy (Papaver rhoeas). This is used as mild sedative. The stems contain a latex or milky sap. This may cause skin irritation, and the milky sap present in the Opium Poppy (Papaver somniferum) contains several narcotic alkaloids including morphine and codeine.

Hi Assi;
Good composition, nice frame, maybe better suited to TrekLens- but fair enough. My only suggestion is that when shooting handheld; try to ensure you're getting a shutter speed of at least 1/100th of a second, especially when using a zoom lens as the shake is amplified significantly. 1/60th has resulted in the flower being quite blurry and soft focus. If your camera was still (tripod) maybe it was windy and the flower was moving- either way a faster shutter speed should sort that out for you.
Best of luck,
- Dan
