Photographer’s Note

After the sun went down I saw clearly this two layer of clouds, the dark ones that where very heavy and low and the coloured colouds that were light and higher than the dark.
The sky were blue and clear. This picture was taken after the former post 'The last sun beam'.

I took this picture in raw, did some levels work and resizing.

Yes, interesting effect Elroyie with these two different ways in which the clouds appear after sunset - the dark ones making a nice "frame" at the right and bottom, and the reddish light on the other clouds looking beautiful against the blue evening sky. Good capture.

Fine capture of this dramatic cloud formation, Elroyie. The red and blue tones are gorgeous. The compo is good -the natural frame of the dark clouds works nicely - they're an a bit threatening presence. Well seen & fine work!

Yes David. I like such kind of view. For me it`s more than enough. :-) I like the frame of clouds on the bottom and right side of composition. Also orange-red colour of the clouds against blue sky are in very nice forming.

That red tinge of the clouds is very common were I live, and I think that in many parts of the world also, but framed with the heavy gray clouds make them really see like a window in the sky. Very good pic.
