Photographer’s Note
Got myself a circular polarizer this week and couldn't wait to try it out.The sky was partly cloudy today so I thought I'd give it a go and see what sort of results I'd get
This is the view from behind where I live.A drop of nature just on my doorstep known as Rosh HaAyin Forest/Woods.A small idilic area where you can breath some fresh air and maybe have a picnic.
Caught some nice light towards the end of the day....any comments welcome.

Hi David,
A very beautiful image, you are lucky to have a view like this next to your house.
The combination of the trees and the sky with some clouds are very interesting, and it creates a good composition. Good work with the Cl polarizer, the sky has been fantastic, and the illumination and the colors of the rest of the photo also have been perfect.

Josep

Hi David,
The lighting and shadow effects here are very alluring and although there is no central subject, the photo works with the front line of trees being the main actors in the play. I like the warm lighting in the foreground and the way your polarizer worked well here. I am guilty of using the polarizer for most shots, but would not be without it and still prefer it to most other filters for general use. This has a painterly look which your polarizer will help to achieve for many shots to come. Well done.

Hi David,
Great work with your polarizer; the clouds seem to float in three dimensions in the sky!!! My first polarizer efforts weren't nearly so successful and I need to get one for my favorite lens. I glad you live in such a beautiful place, I've started a theme, "From my Window" and I've taken the liberty of posting your photo to this theme.

Hi David and welcome back,
Good use of polarizer it always goes with sky and clouds.
I like the combination of green and blue and less the big differences between the shadow and light

Serwus David !
It was an excellent purchase. In fact, i almost always have my polarizer on. It works even in dull light, just as a lens' protection ;)
Here, a nice afternoon vista with low light effects. The colours are deep due to the filter, the shapes of clouds are sharp enough, but still two of them are overexposed. Maybe too short time of exposure ? Still, convincing and nice Work.
Best wishes,
M.

Your new polariser has combined well with the golden evening light. The clouds look almost 3D and the strong light/shade contrasts work well.

Hi David. You live a lovely spot and it’s good to see you also appreciate what you have. Your polarizer seems to work ok, the clouds are more prominent than I expect they would normally be. Thanks for sharing your little slice of paradise.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi David
A nice scene with beautiful warm light. The shadows on the trees are impressive too as they add some extra impact to the scene. The polarizer seems to have held back the light a little and evened things out. Nice exposure and good details.

Nice light in the sky and right part of the pciture, perhaps to much shadow for me on the bottom and left. But a very nice sky anyway.
All the best,
Emmanuel

A beautiful landscape, very pleasant lighting!
I like this composition with the strong foreground interest in the fir trees as seen against the beautiful blue sky...
Pleasant fluffy white late summer clouds!

Hi David
Nice landscape shot with marvellous colour, saturation from the polarizer, & good sharpness. I like the repetition of the pine trees.

Hello David, it has truly been a long time since i checked your gallery.
This one here really cought my eye.
This is Israel? I was about to say, "You must be kidding..."
No offence but I have always had the impression that Islael was mostly a desert country, ok not exactly desert but slightly more middle eastern-ish.
But this view really took my breath away, that could easily have been not far from where I live!
Composition is simple, but it works great as it shows a very natural down to earth view of a quiet forest.
Excellent contrast between the light up trees, the dark foreground and the bright blue sky.
Great job.

Bonjour David,
Daniel.

Hi David,
Lovely place surrounded by the tall pines. I like they way the shadows work half way up the trees and do not block the beautiful blue sky and puffy clouds.
Happy Holidays to you and your family,
Tom
