I went to watch paragliders on the ocean cliff yesterday, and this is the first picture for TE's.
Some of the central coastline in Israel is made of limestone cliffs hanging over the ocean. Those cliffs are perfect for gliding sports, the air from the ocean moves up along the cliff letting the gliders hang on the air stream. As a result, you can see dozens of paragliders on weekends.
I was standing very close to this man while he was struggling with the winds trying to get the parachute in the air. I took this shot just when the parachute started lifting.
I fill the overexposed part at the right is balanced by the parachute on the left (I hope).

i think there is too much vacant space in the image...now i can't say from what distance this shot was taken...overall very nice shot!

I agree that the bright color of the parasail balances the glare on the right. It's an interesting shot, and it taught me that they don't just do this kind of thing in California and Hawaii!
