This one was hard to do.
Herzelia beach, just 30 minutes before sunset.

I wanted to get the long exposure effect on the water, and so I used a fantastic 64*ND filter on my very wide 10mm lens.
Even though it was close to sunset time, I was able to get a 5 seconds exposure.
Shores of Herzelia, Israel.

Incredible landscape picture - could almost be another planet.

Hi Gilad!

Nice picture. I really like the narrow horizon and the motion in the water. Nice colors too..

Regards,

Daniel

Excellant shot, Gilad. I like the way the water is captured with the long exposure.

fantastic photo! This filter made the colors so interesting. That plus the stones and water almost gives a surreal atmosphere to your photo.

Hello,
Trés bien gérée. Temps de pose bien vu et choix du N/B également.

Bravo

Well Gilad, the shot is fantastic. I love it!

I don't really understand about the 64* ND filter though, that doesn't sound possible - not impossible to make one, obviously, but surely if it altered the exposure by a factor 64 the exposure would be massivly longer than 5 seconds at F22. I took a two second exposure at F22 for my waterfall shot "Taf Fechan" in broad, albeit dull, daylight (ISO 200 on a D70) without any ND filter at all! Using an ND4 filter alone would have increased the exposure on that shot to 8 seconds. Can you enlighten me on this point please.

Beautiful shot.

Best regards
Colin

Great one Gilad! I like the depth you managed to capture here with the very long exposure for such a time (64 ND?! Thats a heavy weight). Another favorite!

Hi again,

another piece of art that you share with us. Ilike the sensations that this photo passes. Sensations of peace, and calm, contrrasting with the strength of the sea.
Keep shooting like this.

Paulo

I love it!
