An automn picture.

The picture was taken at the first stages of winter, this leaf was standing alone (while his friends were on the ground), I used the afternoon soft backlight to take the picture, and used the naked branches behind for a background bokeh.

Good composition Elroyie and I also think the shallow DOF is perfect to make us focus on the leave. I would however darken a little bit the background so it wouldn't be so distracting. Well done.

Très jolie photo avec un bon titre. J'aime tout particulièrement le rayon de soleil qui glisse sur la feuille. Superbe

A well composed and sensitive picture and note, Elroyie. The backlit autumn leave is beautiful in its red translucency. The web-like blurred background (nice choice of DOF) works very well.

So beautiful red, lovely light and texture of the leaf. Nice background and composition. Very well done!
