[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Paratroopers Brigade (חטיבת הצנחנים, Hativat HaTzanhanim) is a unit of paratroopers within the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and forms a major part of the Infantry Corps. It has a history of carrying out special forces-style missions dating back to the 1950s. It is currently involved primarily in counter terror operations within the West Bank.

The brigade was created at the mid 1950's when the commando Unit 101 was merged with Battalion 890 (the IDF's Airborne Commando unit) in order to form an elite infantry brigade. The new unit was equipped with the IMI Uzi submachine gun as their primary weapon as it provided light and small automatic fire - essential properties for recon units and commandos.

Great shot, Assi! Perfect composition, it's hard to believe that it's possible to catch such moment in the air. Even the cloud is trying to play its part in the frame. The sun is another nice touch here.
On the other hand, it seems that some picture quality has been lost, I don't know if it's nose or compression.
Anyway - I love this shot.

Hi Assi - spectacular shot, amazing how you caught these three silhouettes in attractive positions in the air; the sun behind the parachute creates pretty effects of light and shapes. Congratulations, Daniel

Hello Assi.
Interesting shot, I had to ask my husband how it was possible to catch the parachutists with the ropes not strengthen enough. Impressive with the sun exactly behind one of them.
