Foggy Morning
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Fog is a rare commodity in my area, so I was extremely happy to see the dense fog that covered earth Yesterday morning. I hopped on my friend's car and we drove around looking for interesting objects that blend into the fog. This tree was on a top of a tiny hill, it was all that I wanted.
I cropped the bottom a little, and increased the contrast by 15 in PS. |

Hey Amitai!
Well if you miss fog, you can certainly come over to where I go to school. It seems to be the most common condition during the later parts of october and early november. In fact it is so deep, you can't see five metres infront of you.
Anyway, I like the rural aspect of this photograph. The lone tree standing on a plateu, slowly being eaten by the white fog.
The contrast between the ground and sky, adds more to the effect.
Thanks for sharing!
Amitai, an interesting photo, and I have now learned about the scarcity of fog in Israel! But one good way to photograph it in a way that gives you something to look at is to get to a high point early in the morning and catch pools of it in the valleys below, before the sun has burned it all off. That happens a lot where I live and I'll try to post an example later on this season. Thanks for sharing, Matt
