[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When open landscape and Urban life meat, sometime it ends up with images like that.

This was taken in Migdalim, which is a small settlement near Schem. I was there for my reserve duty.
The open fields were reflected from the window of a small military structure.

Shot in "cloudy weather" WB to get the brown tonning, and give this the mood.

Take a look at "A Different Look At Israel" presentations

A nice strong art image Gilad - well seen and a good treatment of it for an interesting picture - it seems like a sad reflection of all the human pain in this area around the militarisation of life - a shattered sun on a landscape it seems so difficult to share - the bootlike imprint on the window seems very symbolic to me.

its captivating, but i dont know how to look at it. was there a lot of post processing?
so u re looking thru the window or u are backwards to the field and see reflection?

I don't know how this happened; I don't understand the note. The picture is overwhelming; very impressive.
Congratualtions on that Gilad.
Huub

very interesting effect, indeed it's hard to understand what's going on in the first moment, but I like it.

Wow such a great photo! I love the atmosphere here, the texture is great and the shattered glass acting as the sun is just amazing.
The silhouettes how are they created? it is a reflection on the glass? or is it imposed over the glass in post processing?

On first look i assumed that this was a photo manipulation and I am still not sure that it isnt. if it is I would say that it is too heavily processed for TE and more apt for TL, but perhaps there is no post processing here, i woudl love to know!

Again well done!

Great idea!

Nice image. Beautiful effect. Nino
