Both dust and homless animals are plentiful and everywhere in Iraq. Here a shy and lonely puppy wipes the dust from its eye at a roadside rest area on the drive back from Sulaymaniah.

It is a lovely moment, unfortunately unsharp. I tried to suggest a crop which concentrate more on this lovely dog. Hope you will like it ;O)

Your image shows the side of war that we all fear, being alone. Maybe the pict. would be better if the pup were further on the left. Other than that, I guess you have captured loneliness.
