Photographer’s Note
After 17 hours straight of work with no breaks and no sleep I was at least greeted with a nice sunrise. As you can see there are military trucks pulling security in the area we were working in. After all that was done I went and slept the rest of the day and it was gooood sleep :0)

Another good photo from Iraq. Good composition, but this place.... take care and be careful.

Sleep is good. Away from the bright light for just a while, until our mind could understand again, the meaning of what it sees. You know, a good sleep always makes a better soldier. Watch your six Phil, and God Bless.

I guess you won't be able to take this sunrise away from your memories. Nice picture, well composed (like where you put the sun and the horizon line) and well exposed.

Awesome picture, my friend. It really takes me to that place and time. I can almost smell the air.

Such a contrast between peace and war, it seems like a thin line between the two of them here. Must be a comforting sight to see the sun rise another day (and know you have lived one more) when you're in a danger zone like this.
