This is one of the species of Fritillaria. The genus Fritillaria belongs to the Liliaceae or Lily family and in Iran we mostly call it " Laleh-ye- vazhegon" ( Inverted Tulip ). It is also known as " Ashk-e-Maryam" (Tears of Mary) ; because of the dropping dews that sounds like drops of tear. This plant is native to Iran and reached Austria in 1576.
It grows in some mountain slopes located in center and west of Iran , usually in second month of the spring and is seen in different colours such as yellow, orange and brown.

Hi Atousa,
That is one unusual flower ... this would certainly look fantastic when they are blooming in masse against this hostile barren environment. Wonderfully captured and composed with good image quality. Well done! tfs

Salam dear Atousa. Glorious colours and such a strong show of new life against a landscape that may not be too kind to little flowers. I like your note, particularly about hearing the "tears" dropping to the ground.Best wishes. Klaudio.

Hey Atousa,
A lovely shot with wonderful vivid colors and excellent contrast. I love the contrast between the flowers and the blue sky. Like you mentioned in your note, those flowers also grow in Austria (in German they are called "Kaiserkrone" which means something like "crown of the emperor"). Congratulations!!! TFS

Natasha

Hi Atousa!
This is a wonderful spring shot! The composition is great, seems the flowers are going to walk along the valley. No tree around, seems there are just flowers and mountains there, wonderful effect. Colours are perfect!

Hello Atousa,

trčs belle composition, avec ces touches rouges qui viennent colorer ce beau paysage.
Bon dimanche
Marie

Hello Atousa, I like the contrast between a basically barren landscape and the lush beautiful brightly-colored flowers growing there. Your low POV really creates a sweep of view from the very close foreground to the distant hills. Regards, Ken.

Bonjour Atousa
The bell-shaped pendulous flowers are really beautiful, give a great colored touch and contrast well with the green foliage and soil. There is also a good sense of depth...
Have a nice day

Hi Atousa,
It is so strange to see these bright and amazing flowers in this desolate landscape, they are in such contrast. Good low point of view and I also like the mountains in the distance.

Wanda

Hello Atousa, I am surprised to see this flower grow on the Iran mountain slopes. This flower is grown in Slovakia as an ornamental plan and now, on your photo, I see an almost endless field of it. :-)
Very nice perspective here, as well as POV. A plus is an useful note.
Best regards,
Adrian
