[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An old door with surrounding tileworks, Golestan palace.
This door is located in the south eastern corner of the complex and seems to be built during the reign of Nasser-eddin shah Qajar. The royal guard, as shown on the tiles, is holding the Royal mace of the Qajar kings. A similar jewelled mace is now kept in the Museum of Crowm Jewels of Iran.
