[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
a scan from my 2001 visit to Persepolis in Iran. Shot with a point & shoot film camera with unknown film brand bought in Iran. These pillars once supported a roof made of carved wood mainly imported from Lebanon (i believe).
Iran has a lot of great ruins, but they are all poorly taken care of, and there is barely any tourist infrastructure available. As seen with the example of the ruins in Bam, it is a good idea to visit these places before they become completely ruined.

Nice photo to remember.
Evene the quality isn't the best.
Best Regards Spyros

Great shot and note. I would agree that Iran should take care of their ruins for future generations to enjoy. I actually never knew ruins like this existed in Iran, only in Greece I thought, great shot. TFS.

Salam Nima
I was Iran back in 2006 and it's a shame that ruins aren't being taken care of...I guess that's why we should take as many pictures as we can before all that is left of them is dust.
Thanks for sharing/Mona

But... God willing - Iran will have an atomic weapons (???)
And now... Whose on the top...?
Who's laughing last ...???

It's a good to snap those priceless beauties now before it's too late...
THX, Nima
