Although it is another repetitious post about the Greek Ship in Persian Gulf, but it's again a reason for tribute to our kind Greek friend " Hercules Milas " ( Cretense ).

I made a theme with title of The Mysterious Greek Ship in Persian Gulf for it,hope you like it,too.

and let me say again the story of the Mysterious Greek Ship :

On a hot summer day, the native people of "Kish" Island in "Persian Gulf" saw a gigantic ship stranded near "Baghoo" village. After many years, it is still not clear why the ship got stranded.
The Greek ship of 7061 tons gross, 446 feet and 6 inches in length was built in 1943 by William Hamilton & Co.Ltd at port in Glasgow,Scotland.

The ship On 25th July 1966 after her sea voyage from Iran bound for Greece was ran aground off the Kish coast here.
Several unsuccessful re-floating attempts were made and the crew forced to disembark since the salvage was not economically feasible.

this ship was originally named "Empire Trumpet",then "Naturalist","Persian Cyrus","Hamadan" and finally "Koula F" at the time of her loss.

The natives say that the owners of the ship set it on fire when abandoning it. All that remains today is a blackened steel structure.

Whatching the sun behind this Greek ship which slowly sets in the blue waters of the "Persian Gulf" is a beautiful scene for all people and tourists.

Hello Mohammad,

Very thin space for sea and reserving huge part for magnificent sky is a perfect idea. I like cloudy sky and hidden sun beams behind the clouds but still illuminating part of clouds there. A great silhouette of ship already captured. Wonderful, congratulations.

Friendly Regards,

Ertugrul

Hello Mohammad,

I cannot believe this wonderful sky. I would like to be author of this artistic creation or I would like to see again Iran. Thank you very much and best regards,

Branko

Probably it was quite a extrodinary day the one we can see in this photo, such a wonderful sky and the misterious ship makes the all photo looks like the frame of a film. Very poetic, as your photos use to be.

Hi Mohammad, my dear friend! I really don't know how to express my gratitud to one of the most wonderful persons and one of the greatest photographers in TE!

Fantastic and very atmospheric photo of that greek ship that has been a great inspiration to you! Thank you and thank you and thank you!

With my warmest and friendliest regards,
Hercules

PS 1. I 'll be back...

PS 2. Do you know that one of the most popular songs of Rembetika (a greek style of music, often described as the "Greek blues", the music of the greek "underground" of the decades '20s- '60s) is called, "The ship from Persia". It says about a ship that came from your country and was "arrested" by the police near Corinthia, because it was carrying 11 tones of hashis. I don't know if it's a true story.

hi M.
verz nice, the skz is marvellous, and the silhouette well placed
didier

Good evening Mohammad,
The sky was very impressive and the Greek ship seems to fly on it. Very well captured.
Best regards,

What a great shot!!
You captured a very wonderful sky in the sunset with a silhouette of the Greek ship. I really like the atmosphere of the photograph,It's Marvelous!
These days I have more time to concentrate on photography, unfortunately in our iranian photography website I have not received any useful commment on my photographs, and this is the reason of my returning to wonderful trekearth website :)
Also I saw the photograph of Rayan in your profile,he is so nice.
Best Wishes for you and your family

Assalamualaikum Muhammad. You have anchored the ship very well in the silhouette of this ship. Putting it against the low horizon is very pleasant in capturing the vibrancy of the sky. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Salam Mohammad
Again this mysterious ghost ship with a good priority frame for the sky.
Just one suggestion, a lower POV to show sun reflections on the sea.
Cheers.
