Photographer’s Note

There is a new pier that is made last year in Kish Island in south of Iran,Persian Gulf and is a good place for capture the birds around the pier.it has a 400 meter long.

Kish Island is located 18 kilometres off the southern Iranian coasts in Persian Gulf.

The island lies 300 kilometers from Bandar Abbas, 400 kilometers from Bushehr,200 kilometers from the Emirate of Dubai,and 1,600 kilometers in land route,or 1,052 kilometers in air route,from Tehran.

According to the national geographical divisions,Kish is in the domain of the Lengeh District,Hormuzgan Province,but is run independently by the Kish Free Zone Organization (KFZO).

The relatively oval island has an area of over 90 square kilometers: 15 km long(east-west) and 7 km wide (north-south).

The Isaland has almost 21,000 inhabitants(2004) with an old root in a history more than 3000 years!

Hi Mohammad!
A good nightshot with a very interesting foreground.The row of birds look nice and the orange tones of the ???contrast so well with the nearly black tones of the water and the sky.The lelights in the background and it`s reflections look great,too.

A very nice composition here, Mohammad, with a nice balance of dark and light. The orange-yellow-black color scheme works well. It's not one of your best, perhaps, because it was taken in full darkness; I think late twilight would have been preferable, so not all light was artificial. It's certainly very observant of you to put such a shot together, though. Regards, Ken.

Great composition, very well balanced. I like the good contrast of the orange tones against the dark of the night. The nice birds and the big reflections created a poetic atmosphere.

Hi Mohammad

This is a well shot night picture. The reflections in the water are nice and complement the orange of the pier(?) The exposure is also good as the subject has been properly exposed and the lights in the far distance also look great. Good composition sticking to the basics. Its interesting to see how the birds are perfectly aligned. I am wondering though if you would have got nice colors in the sky had you shot slightly earlier?

This pier has certainly been built especialy for gulls !
Th picture is interesting, and well built... Elements are distinct and textured by light.
