Royal coach of the Qajar dynasty (1794-1925), Bonyad museum of Royal vehicles, Tehran.
This carriage was made in Europe during the Reign of Sultan Mozaffar Al-din Shah Qajar (1896-1907) but was most used by his grand son, Sultan Ahmad Shah Qajar (Reign: 1909-1925). The chariot was later used by Shah Reza Pahlavi on his coronation day. Although he used Pahlavi Crown, but the Kiani crowns on the chariot were not removed.
Later, during the reign of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the chariot was used once again to carry the crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, but this time the Pahlavi imperial coat of arms was painted on both sides.
