Gīlān (Persian: گیلان, ) is one of the 30 provinces of Iran. It lies along the Caspian Sea, just west of the province of Mazandaran, east of the province of Ardabil, north of the provinces of Zanjan and Qazvin. Northern part of province is part of territory of South (Iranian) Talysh. The center of the province is the city of Rasht. Other towns in the province include Astara, Astaneh-e Ashrafiyyeh, Fuman, Lahijan, Langrud, Masouleh, Rudbar, Rudsar, Taleshand Soumahe Sara.
The main harbor port of the province is Bandar-e Anzali (previously Bandar-e Pahlavi).

une montagne assez éléevée qui accroche les nuages. Et tu as bien choisi le moment où justement un beau spécimen croisait ton POV.

Very nice .. I love the powerful mountain and the cloud .. the thing that really grabs me is how the little bits of buildings help amplify the tremendous scale of the place ..

Hi Afshin,
a good view from Dorfak peak in Gilan you show us with a fantastic clouds that is hovering there beautifully.
About composition,it's good,but could be better,with mocve your camera a bit down,just above the clouds and then you could have more from ground and fields,...still a very good shot and I can feel the situation very well with its fresh air and smell of the rice fields :)

Wonderful landscape Afshin, the presence of clouds enhances the beauty, the very top part is redundant though, maybe a crop 25% off the top would work better.

A very nice landsape image, Afshin. You composed it very well with the distribution of the snowpeak on the left and those fantastic clouds on the right. Including minimal info of the valley floor gives a good sense of depth.

this cloud attached at this snowly mountain is very beautiful and it give all the perspective at your picture. may be just a little crop of the top of the sky. a beautiful landscape and a perfect capture
