Photographer’s Note

all the belongies of an old man from a small village that in winter the population fall to 2 people, and around one week the road are closed by heavy snow, they have small farms and some fruit trees its all thier posesions and life income. the time that I had taken this photo was summer , the atmospher of the place that this people were living for mine wasnt pleasont, it was like the people that are waiting for death, I dont know it was my feel, I suppose the main reason might be the lack of children in thier small socity.

its true i do se sadness even in his way of sitting, as if he has lost hope. very sad note. i like the rugged house you captured with the little tea pot and furnace, we use to have them back in iraq :)
