Photographer’s Note
This colorful volcanic hill/mountain is located in margin of the Dashte Kavir or Great Salt Desert where is a large desert laying in the middle of the Iranian Plateau.
After driving almost 150~160 Km from Tehran to Qom and then towards Kashan, you will find this colorful volcanic place.
This is not an active volcano, and I think the place is young like the Damavand volcano peak be almost 10,000 years old.

I did a wrong setting about ISO (for this picture)when I took it,from its last night it set on 400 and I forgot to turn the ISO,anyway,...hope you like it.
Welcome:)

Nice image, especially for the colours and the beautiful lines created by the hills.
The sky is bright and sature, and details of the hills are very clear.
Well done!

Hi M.
The colors and the shapes on this hill are beautiful and intresting.
Somthing is strange in the color of the sky, perhaps the ISO setting?
Anyway, very nice shot.

Hi Mohammad,
Don't worry with such a fine camera you may go up to 400 without any bad feeling ;-)
What I like here are the cool contrast between the warm concrete ground and the cold sky, and the play of light and shade on the ground is nice too.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Serwus Mohammad !
Absolutely outstanding shades of red here, so well contrasting with the deep and undisturbed blue of the sky. Nice composition with dominating triangle of the volcanic hill. All in stunning clarity and well exposed.
Best wishes,

Hi Mohammad - I don't believe that the ISO oversight will have had much effect on your image - your camera will have compensated by increasing the shutter speed and reducing your aperture setting.
The variety of colours in the soil is amazing. Very interesting, harsh looking landscape.

Mohammad,
Nice name, this is interesting that you find this volcano in desert. Kavir's nature is very wonderful and frightful some time! the black timeworn lavas have bedighted the hill, and it introduce itself as a volcano such!
tnx for all

Hi Mohammad,
Looking at the thumbnail I did thought you made a picture of a huge chocolate mountain (with a coffee topping). The full size mountain is less chocolate like but still very impressive.

Hi Mohammad,
Indeed, it seems like a landscape made of chocolate. And it seems tasty! I wonder how long does it takes to melt. Lovely colours, enhanced by the nice game of shadows and sunlight. An marvellous irreal place, as many of yours. Superb!

Incredible composition.
Chocolate or caramel with very fine sharpness and no matter for the 400 ISO; there is no grain or noise here.
Well done.
Cheers.

Hi Mohammad - Very funny and fine view - could be a contrast to the Mudvulcano of Norbert :-)
A very rare and beutiful sight indeed - thanks for sharing this great shot and I actully often use ISO 400 in the daytime as well in order to get quicker shutter speed.
My compliment with this fine job
Best regards

Hello, Mohammad!
What an interesting place! It really looks like a mountain made of chocolate! Very nice lighting, well saturated colors. In this case the composition with 1/3 of the cadre for the sky did it well! Nice work!

Beautiful strong colours and light, Mohammad, and a very well composed landscape photograph. The higher ISO doesn't seem to be noticeable at all - if you removed any noise in PP, then you did a good job of that. Cheers . . . David
