Meeting under rainbow, a photo from Esfahan, East

Photographer's Note

I know that there are many photos of rainbow, but I simply cannot resist to post one more. Whenever I see one I feel honoured to witness such a beautiful moment nature creates for us. During my whole trip in Iran I had sun above my head all the time. There was only one exception and that was 1/2 hour after my landing at Esfahan airport. I've already posted different photo from same afternoon. This photo was taken just before entering the arrival hall. I have to say that local authorities were very patient with me as I could not get enough photos of this beautiful rainbow and very dramatic moment. They've ended up taking some photos with their mobiles too ... :)

The rainbow is nice, but it is the context, the golden light, and the atmosphere of the whole scene that make it stand out. The characters are strange, the one on the left with the military outfit and the other three who seem to be discussing about another hypothetical war, classified as defense secret. Seems like a movie scene.

Oula, c'est bon ca.
J'adore le fort contraste et cette lumière.
La partie basse est sombre, mais c'est ca qui donne de l'impact à ta compo je trouve.
Le mec en blanc, l'arc-en-ciel qui claque, la position des personnes,...ambiance étrange...joli

Beautiful. Very well composed with the rainbow leading up to the top-left corner of the frame. The light and sky are very dramatic.

Hi Lucie. I'm always kinda jealous when I see this kind of pictures. I never succeeded to take a decent rainbow shot. So congrats for this one, it is very nice how you have captured it; you even got a double one here. Well done and have a nice weekend.

Wow! What a dramatic looking shot! The colours of the rainbow are so bright against the dark sky in behind. The inclusion of the people also adds to the shot bey give some depth and context to the scene. Great work Lucie!

If it's not a ghost on my screen this is a rare double rainbow. I am seeing another on the left of the picture. The colors are so vivid against a so menacing sky that it almost look unreal. I like the warm tones on the floor. The composition is wonderful as is the light captured by you. Well done.

Very interesting different light on both sides of rainbow.Good composition with airport workers.Colors are amazing.I wonder how they alowed you to take photos on airport? I think this is forbidden.

you were lucky to get such a wonderful rainbow although you weren't in the right place that allow you to move freely.
