Photographer's Note

This is 4th shot in the serie,Dasht-e Kavir (also known as Kavir-e Namak)where is a large desert laying in the middle of the Iranian Plateau.

The People live only in oasis in small scales and they rely on farming,herding animals and migrating. They have to plant wheat, barley, fruit trees and alike.
In some areas, farming is also in vain. So, they have to make a living just by herding cattle. When neither of the above helps, they have to migrate to somewhere else in search for better living conditions but in the desert !
Hard-working and enduring people live around the deserts, accepting the harsh conditions of the area.

I think it maybe needs about 0.2 degrees rotation to the Right.

une véritable leçon pour ceux qui veulent poster des ciels menaçants et retranscrire une ambiance de tempête et d'orage.
Le jeu des lumières sur cette plaine en plein contratse avec le noir du ciel crée cet atmosphère très spéciale.

Very nice and striking picture ( Like most pictures of your archive ) I always enjoy the two colors Gray and gold together, but here the power is also accentuated by the imminent storm or rain. It looks as the photographer had hardly the time to run for cover.

Within this arid landscape, one has to learn to adapt and be independent, to live in it. I have heard on the news my dear friend, of the impending storm from another land. It is said, God always take side with those that believed in his or her effort to survive, and believing in Him.

Magnifique , le contraste du ciel sombre est de cette terre encore sous la lumiere du soleil est puissant , ca c'est des beaux moments quand l'orage menace ou que la tempete arrive , j'aime cette ambiance .
