Gile Mard ...
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A semi typical "Gile Mard" ( means a man from Gilan province ) weighing olives on his old weighing machine. He was selling olives, garlic, pickled garlic, pomegranate juice, Olive juice, ...
He was a kind man letting me to capture lots of shots of him & his little shop in Anzali traditional Bazar ... I cant forget his voice that kept saying : " take shots, take as much as you like" with a big smile on his kind semi typical local face :) |

Hi Shahab,
Plenty of colors and tastes on this shot. I likea lot the composition and the subject. I like the shelf with all that colorfull bottles on the background. Also very nice his natural posture serving the olives. You capture well is activity and the atmosphere of this bazar.
Regards,
Flavia

Hi Shahab,
Beautiful shot of "Gile mard" in his store! Colors are lovely but I think you can reduce yellow tone in your shot to gain more natural colors.
Oh, I love those olives.
Your recent photos of Gilan are interesting and can be collected in a travelogue.
Thanks for sharing,
Best Regards,
Reza

Thanks for sharing your country with us.
Nice daily life shot, Shahab. You were lucky to have such a cooperative subject. Good exposure, DOF and sharpness, and the saturation looks very natural. Cheers . . . David
