The bridge in the shot has made before 75 years ago.In Iran, poeple know the bridge here as a landmark for the "Ahwaz" city, the capital of Khuzestan province, where is located in the south western of Iran.
The 850 kilometer long "Karoon" which is the widest river in Iran is the country's only navigable river,It flows into the Persian Gulf.
Among other rivers that flow into the sea of Oman and the Persian Gulf are Karkheh,Dialeh,Jarrahi,Hendijan and Arvand.
Welcome.

Hello Mohammad,
An urban landscape, not so usual, isn't it ? Very nice composition and colours.
It's really a different relation with camera and images between digital and analogic material? I thought it was due for me to the difference between a reflex and a compact one... but it seems it's not the unic reason. The relation with textures , time, delais change too.
I hope it's not a big crisis.
Thanks for sharing,
Mare

Hi Mohammad. Good angle on this bridge, with a fine perspective built as we follow its span across the river. Good handling of the strong light, rendering nice colors and details. Composition-wise, I would have perhaps taken 1 or 2 steps to the front in order to not have the tree overlap with the arch of the bridge. Well done, and also a good educational note coming with it.

Hi Mohammed, nice to see some old pictures from an your analog camera; lately I shot only film, I'm a bit tired on digital right now :) Now back to ypur picture I like the nice perspective and composition with the brigde leading the eye over the river. The tree in the left corner is a nice addition both to the composition and the colour palette. The colours are superb particularly the blue sky. Well done!

Hi Mohammad,
This bridge makes an attractive subject, and the angle really makes the photo. Nice note on the information about the bridge.
All the best,

Hi Mohammad,
In my opinion (as you) photo is photo, digital, or analog.
The photograph must catch the right moment to do a good shot.
PS or other can help after, but the basis is the same.
Btw, nice picture, good composition ;o)

Didier

Nice tranquil picture, Mohammad! The skies, the empty path on the right, the setting sun...all contribute to this peaceful picture!

Hello Mohammad,
Yes I know this nostalgic "back to the roots"
feeling,-from time to time I blow the dust from my analog camera and take her out for a stroll..
It´s a beautiful bridge with dynamic lines and you put it into a very good composition
with a good perspective.Excellent scan!

Hi Mohammad, You have done an excellent job to make this analog picture to have such high quality. I enjoy the nice composition, and the clear contrast of this picture. The foreground pathway and the crossing the picture bridge make nice contrast of different perspective view. The beautiful blue sky makes a very nice background contrast the beautiful scene. Well done.

I never tire of bridge shots, and this is a really interesting one. Slight quibble, the very strong contrast here seems to lost a bit of detail in places.

Hello Mohammad,
I really enjoy discovering your beautifull contry from your "eyes" my friend. You must know that for us, being always poluted by the american media, dont always have a good idea of what a contry is really like. This is the case for Iran. But your work has made me discover a wonderfull place that if it wasn't for you I would not wanted to visit. I thank you very much for this.
Great photo with a good point of view. With all the rivers here in Canada, it's a suprise to me that you only have one navigable river.
Thanks again!

Dear Mohammad,
Your technic for scanning is very beautiful and absolutely great, but have to learn with your splendid camera working in digital, also we everything have to learn!
A wonderful image with great perspective and lovely colours too!
Thanks a lot,
John.

In writing the intro I was looking back at your earlier photos and remembered this bridge. I wondered what had happened to it and now here it is again. A blast from the past. Once again it's a good view of the bridge, perhaps the best one of the very good shots of it. The point of view is just perfect capturing the elegant arches across the river. Even the tree seems swept forward across toward the bridge. And the sky also has that swept feel. Everything draws the eye across the pattern. Thanks for this piece from the pre-digital days.
