hi Mohammad - super photo and super title of this :)
CliffW (2377) 2005-06-12 12:32
lol Mohammad, I looked at the title and thought "????????" and now it makes perfect sense. Very funny. The shot came out great as a profile. So simple, but it works so well, the dark foliage is perfect as a backdrop
Ina (2687) 2005-06-12 12:32
Fine composition and I very much like the light... The title is great too... It so original... TFS...Ina...

Hi, Mohammad. A fun pictogram-ish title for this scene of the woman working in the field. It looks like she is straining her back quite a bit here. Good composition in which she is well placed amongst the horizontal layers of the rice field setting.
jhm (135294) 2005-06-12 13:02
The colours from the lady her attire are a beautiful a really eyes catcher, very well seen!
naxius (16685) 2005-06-12 13:13

Very good compo, with a good POV Mohammad.

My back wouldn't take one hour of work in that position. It looks really strenuous. Nice composition and combination of colors. The perpendicular angle makes this picture very geometric.
don_narayan (2014) 2005-06-12 16:41
fantastic shot. I ahve really enjoyed your rice field photos. They are a reason why I like TE so much, they educate me by showing me something I don't associate with Iran. thanks.

I like the title. Excellent graphism & lighting, although I'd crop a little tighter. I like the horizontal layering in this superb daily life shot. Well done!
bazal (7900) 2005-06-13 7:54
The right shot at the right time (as it is frequently the case in your album !). Beautiful composition and great DOF, light and contrast. Exceptional subject and great sense of composition. A new great post for you, congratulations !
weswang (18223) 2005-06-13 10:55
Hi Mohammad, I guess this is the origination of some gymnastic pose. A very well captured photo with excellent focus, sharpness and color contrast. Well done.

RGatward (20052) 2005-06-13 17:03
Nicely framed shot, adn well lit in the cross light. Not sure about the OoF plant in the foreground, which seems o distract a bit.
Leonie (8809) 2005-06-13 19:46
Faboulous light and composition, Mohammad! I love all this green! Poor woman..this looks like incredibly hard work! But you make her a nice tribute by posting this beautiful picture! THanks for sharing!

I have to ask you ..How long have you been on Trek. I have never seen so many points before. This photo is very nice and yet I know with your equipment that you could have had more sharpness on the lady. Perhaps a little USM might help a little. Thanks for posting.
alford (3961) 2005-06-14 0:36
Hi Mohammad! I see you're back in the ricefields! I think we have an ergonomic issue here - the position of the lady is not ideal for planting :) Good POV! I'm enjoying your ricefield shots again! rgds.

Hanssie (10325) 2005-06-15 16:04
Ha, ha, your title, this is very, very funny, great humor !
And the picture itself, simple but very effective, I like your "total" !

A position of gymnastics which proves that the movement is perfectly correct, but the repetition ends up becoming painful. I appreciate this incidental light which clarifies the subject and the good control of the exposure because the shades could contribute to an over-exposure. Very good work. Thank you.
jmdaoudal (82) 2005-06-16 10:54
Of course they are trained to be like this, no need to go to the luxurious Gymnastic house and practice streched movements under the direction from a body builded play boy teacher :))
Well built (not the body) composition, and the title says a lot about your excellent choices.
I like it
hugolef (4909) 2005-06-16 11:04
"nice" posture, i like your POV and your frame. i like these herbs on foreground, giving a good depth. Nice tones of green. Well seen & done.
PS ___o is my favorite ! (hahah ... zzzzzz !)
apache (1426) 2005-06-16 14:31
The woman is framed very well in this shot. And your title is a good imitation of her position...:) Well done with your creative thinking...:) I like the splash of colours of her dress against the darker background. Guess people in your country stick to the age old method of sowing and harvesting like in my country as seen in the picture.
avigur_11 (22069) 2005-06-16 16:02
I missed so many of your latest beautiful shots, Mohammad. They all great, but I like this one very much. Excellent POV and a very effective use of the rule of thirds. An interesting title, too.
Mafo (1339) 2005-06-17 3:29
Nice presentation of work on rice field!
Interesting focus in front of a lady, nice work! Regards
Kenny10pin (19301) 2005-06-19 12:01
what an athletic woman, very good take and well timed too, very good daily life shot, well done here
pamastro (7218) 2005-06-21 0:03
At fiAt first glance I wondered what is this curious title? And well now I see and it is obviously perfect. I just wonder how you would read it aloud. :) The composition works in a nice graphic way as you have apparently seen by using this title. The colors, especially her colors against the shaded plants, offers a nice punch there really helping to focus on her. I was thinking that you might even be able to crop it a bit, bringing the bottom closer to the path she's on and then you can clone out some of the nearer plants. This way it might be a little more graphic in appearance than it already is. But again another nicely seen and documented rice field activity.
fooeleen (713) 2005-06-21 14:34
i love the angle u chosed, and the composition's superb as usual! thanks for bringing us the daily lives of people in your part of the world:)
MoosicMan (1231) 2005-06-22 13:58
Phenomenal shot, Mohammad. Such good composition, colors and DOF. You have a very good eye for this business, my friend.
Best to you,
The_Rock (230) 2005-06-23 7:41
I can't almost believe that you have a scene like this in iran. I am staying in Dubai which is in the Middle East for quite sometime now and haven't seen anything as green as this.
Your composition is superb. I like the sharpness of the grass on the foreground. The lines produced by the natural elements has made the composition very impressive. The colour of the dress also helps accentuates the image.
Stepan (27210) 2005-06-23 17:22
Your title is really really great.
Your picture very beautiful, thanks to the colors touch.
Well thought and composed.
Jeppe (18654) 2005-06-26 3:39
Oh - in Denmark do we have an alternative way to say butt. Namely: the place where you highest picking strawberry's
This could go for this position as well. A very cleaver "title" to follow this excellent composed image - I like the mix of shadow and light as well.
Amirsun (2122) 2005-06-26 10:40
Excellent photo and cool name, you have great composition and I like the blurred plants near you.
faubry (35405) 2005-07-06 3:58
