I'm back to the Red Village again:)
Maybe, the shot is not informative, and it's more funny, but the lane which I was passing through, was very busy, and I was wonder the kid had not any attention to passengers!
And after a few seconds,he was going on his play.
About Abyaneh,I invite you to see the theme, please.

It is interesting to see the kids in this environment and what interests them the most. Everything in this picture is back to basic life, except the plastic cup. After all they are influenced by the modern life.
A very well compose picture, Mohammad. Thanks for sharing.

Just a picture of a child indeed....
But you composed this in such a nice way, the long vertical frame and the main detail in a very little part of it, that's very nice done ! And I notice, that this child is not really from your country, it could be a boy in the end of my street:-))

This is very good, Mohammad. The composition is excellent with he red wall filling half of the frame, and the upper view of the child. Colors, textures and contrast are great. Beautiful.

Very good shot Mohammad.
Very good use of proportions with the way you have positionned the child. Great colors in the shot. I like how he does not even notice you.
Good work here.

truly an inspiring picture, and I also loved even more the workshop, or let's say "the other shot" of the same kid. I think this is one of the best people work I have seeen in a while. really, felicitaciones.
HOBO (5282) 2005-03-04 3:02
Sorry to say, Mohammad, but 'his play' foto shows much more better this mini world, where he stays at the moment, concentrating on his work, which is the most important on earth; no interest on things around, even not noticing the guy with the camera! Congradulations!
ChrisJ (109532) 2005-03-04 3:44
Excellent linear perspective, high pov, dof, & sharpness. You've certainly captured the child totally absorbed in play, & his own thoughts. Good shot!

Vey strong up to down here with this Kid located in a very typical place. Very sunny. Like the texture from the wall and special red ground. DOF is excellent.

well composed and framed Mohammad.. love the little kid in the foreground. this is by far the best series so far imo
nwoehnl (122) 2005-03-04 13:42
A sympathetic add for your village series, Mohammad. The playing kid makes an adorable subject amidst the brownish setting with the old walls and walkway. The strong light was not the easiest one to handle but you did a good job here. Good choice with the vertical format and the perspective it supports.

Bonsoir mon ami Mohammad,
sandip (3492) 2005-03-05 0:48
A nice POV and DOF too.I like the indifferent nature of this child.Nothing harmfull for him.Well composed.

Hi Mohammad! Very beautiful and touching photo! The boy playing alone without any friend means a lot; his curiosity and willingness to learn is very evident in your photo. Very good POV and use of DOF! rgds.

Encore une très belle photo de Abyaneh avec ses teintes rouges. Charmante image avec cet exquis enfant. Je préfère même le WS car plus cadré sur l'enfant.
Images parfaites. J'aime.

Nice picture Mohammad, I like the workshop also, they are both nice daily life shot with interesting architecture and lines, good DOF also, well done.

Absolutely the right moment, I love these shots where the subject takes no notice of the photographer. The shadow the light and the "long" background is all very good.

Hi Mohammad, beautiful photo, you captured the little boy in the right moment when he was curiously inspecting the mug. Very nice colours and light and great contrast. Well captured!
phi729 (2101) 2005-03-08 16:39
I look at the main shot : nicely composed, with the child attending to one's business, good warm light and colors, with a nice DOF well highlighting the subject.
... Then I read the note ...and click on the link "his play" : Surprise! I'm seeing you offer us a beautiful present in your WS. Really, the WS is even better : The expression of this child making his "sand castle" as all children in the world is simply irresistible! This little smiling face is perfectly placed in the frame and this warm light is still there. That reinforce again the friendly atmosphere of this photo. Well done, Mohammad. Both shots are beautiful, full of innocence, curiosity, spontaneity and life!

Hi Mohammad, Great colours, nice kid and well-composed. The overall atmosphere is beautifully captured. Nice depth-of-field here too with fantastic sharpness & texture on the wall in the foreground and nice blur behind the child.

it's not very easy to see a blond kid in Iran, isn't it? Was he foreigner?
I like this picture, it has good composition
