Photographer's Note
These type of houses were built in villages north of Iran where there is always high percentage of annual precipitation.as seen in the photo the base is not fixed in the ground,instead fitted on blocks of lumbers which can avoid flooding of the house.ancient engineering!!!
the photo was shot at "Guilan Rural Heritage Museum".
