Hi TE friends!
Glad to be here again after a several-day trip to spend our New Year holiday known as Nowruz. This year (1389) is the year of panther for us.

Amir Chakhmagh Square

Yazd province with area of 70011 Sq. km. is situated in the margin of Kavir in central Iran.

Amir Chakhmagh Complex is one of the important historical places in Yazd. This Complex has been founded in 14th century. In order to populate Yazd and with the cooperation of his wife, Fatemeh Khatoun, Amir jalaledin Chakhmagh- one of the Shahrokh Teymuri’s commander and the governor of Yazd- has founded a complex including Takieh (religious theatre ), square, bath, caravansaries, monastery, pastry house, water well and more important of all, Amir Chakhmagh mosque. Installed stone upon the threshold of the mosque face to the square, the incision of endowment deed in Naskh script, fine nets of mosaic tiles the outer circumference of prayer niche’s dome, and main platform of stalactite worked vault have placed this mosque after Jame mosque from viewpoint of beauty.

Atousa,

the POV is, I guess, quite classical but anyway very strong, thanks to the beauty of the minarets and of the orange light. Surprising how colorful it is. I would never had imagined it is in Yazd, of which I have an idea of narrow lanes. But I like very much this feeling of space, here, with the stylish patterns on the ground. But you have to explain me something: what is the year of the panther?

Hello Atousa,

A superb night's shot with the coloued light which arise very well in the black of the night. The POV well selcetd too give an image very graphic, very geomtric, very well balanced. Great depht too.

Hi Atousa,
Beautiful nicht photo, Great POV with good symetrical composition, I live the light that illuminated each arch of the opening, There is an illusion that they are in 3 dimension and is coming out at us rather than caving in. The flowers in the foreground almost looks like candles burning. Very beautiful colors and moody atmosphere. Thanks.

An attractive image, already from the thumbnails...
Excellent presentation of the Mosque, for which the graphism of the arches is underlined by the lights.
The dark BG gave a good impact to this beautiful architecture.
I did no know, it was the year of the panther, till yesterday (on the tv).

Wonderful composition with this beautiful mosque night, I love the effect of lighted arches and the two high minarets. An image captured with a good symmetry. Thanks for being so nice picture, I visited the mosque when he visits your country, but it was day, at night is magical.

Excellent night time exposure to show the light in the interiors especially inside the arched windows brilliantly! The the to minarets of the mosque quite close to each other again well lit against the dark sky stands out! Good work!

Mnogo lepa dzamija ...
Travnjak sa cvecem, lepa arhitektura i tamno nebo, dobra kompozicija.
Mnogo lepo mesto i prelepa dzamija sa visokim minaretima, koju je naglasilo svetlo i dobar nocni snimak, prikazali ste je lepim bojama i dobrom nocnom fotografijom, moje cestitke na dobrom radu.
Uzivanje je gledati mesto i dzamiju u noci.
