Photographer’s Note
The Bampoor castle located in the north of the Bampoor city is one of the famous castles in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan. It sits on a simulated hill to dominate its surroundings. There are high walls and four towers around the castle and adobe and clay are the main material used in its construction. Like the most castles in Iran, it contains both the public and the aristocratic quarters used in residential and defensive purposes.
The monument dates back to the Sassanid and Parthian eras and for a long period of time the Bampoor castle has been the center of government in Baluchestan.
I found it a very interesting historical place , although it needs to be renovated before its complete ruination!

Hello,
a wonderful photo; especially impressive are the stormy clouds over the castle and the tree in the foreground giving depth and contrast to this view. And also the light seems to be just right.

Hi Atousa,
What a castle in color harmonious to the surrounding environment, good pov and good perspective effect to show the castle in a distant, dim cloudy sky make the yellowish scene more balance in color and reduce the hot feel, thanks for sharing a nice photo.

Hello Atausa,
You captured wonderful part of well contrasted landscape in excellent colors. Especially dark sky, brownish castle and ground worked perfectly together for creating an eye catcher frame. Sharpness and clarity are superb. Congratulations.

Hello Atousa,
This is a very nice iamge with a good and brief note to go with it. I love the contrast between all colors, the warm brown eath and the cool grayish brow sky, and the inclusion of the tree in the front is a great idea to add some life and green to the arid land, the details and texture of the castle is well presented, the cloudy sky is really a nice contrast and refreshing in the desert area. Good works, and thanks.

Hello Atousa:
I would have liked to see the tree on the left completely, but the image is remarkable. I like the perspective it offers the depth of field, and terracotta colors of the surroundings, in contrast to the clear sky.
Beautiful work, friend.

Hello Atousa, A lovely well composed image of this ancient castle, the tree in FG is a good inclusion adding depth, interest & colour. I also like the natural looking colour and the contrast between the golden tones of the land, castle & the blue, grey sky. Lets hope it is restored before it is lost for ever.
Thanks

A very nice view of the Bampoor Castle, under the dark sky, which offers good contrast with the brown tones. on one hand I like the tree in the FG left, but on the other, I wished to see a closer view of the castle. Which century is it?

Hello Atousa,
This deserted but beautiful landscape gives a spirit of history and romanticism. The right distance and the green trees make the castle looking alive, not in ruins. Very well captured!

Hi Atousa,
wow .. this is a tribute to how far your photography skills have grown ... the wonderfully chosen low point of view and foreground amplifies the vastness and sense of dimension .. the drama of the sky adds powerful thoughts to the barren land and old stone.
I hope this finds you safe and well. I posted an image for you and yours. Our thoughts.
take care,
John

Hi Atousa!
Hope everything's ok with you! I've been a little lazy lately so I was missing this one. The castle seems a great place. I like the way you framed it with the tree in foreground and the dark sky. Have you taken any photos closer?
