Old bazar in Qazvin. Now it's being renovated, a huge area all empty. Just amazing. I could have stayed one day ore more there taking photographs.

Hello Michael. An interesting scene shown here, and a very good exposure. I like the way the edges of the image are darkened, it conveys that mysterious atmosphere that JanD mentioned. Amazing beam of light coming through, too, and all those repeating archways, which you've captured really well in this symmetrical composition.

Michael,
this is the second tie I come across this photo.
I love places like this, the calmness, the history, the architecture.
The colors are monotonous, people are gone, the light slowly moves through the spaces, but I especially like the wide view.
I can only be positive with this wonderful photo :)

Very typical old eastern Bazar :-) I hope they build it up again and invite tourists there ... in Iran there are so much to see but no body knows about it and we dont advertise it ...

I love the light handling :-) Nice colors ... clear and nice ...

Just saw this one on today's intro page, excellent shot with magical light beam and overall light which is just right to show the mysterious beauty of the place (without revealing too much rubble?). Great shot!
