Kiyou Lake, Khoramabad, Lorestan province in the west of Iran.
This lake is situated alongside a park by the same name in the north of Khoramabad. It covers an area of 7 hectare and its depths varies from 3 to 7 meters. The Kiyou Lake gains its water from the natural springs, in addition to the beauty, it has attributed to the city, it is a famous spot for tourists. Also it's a quiet place for the young lovers through the week.
Recently, the municipality of Khoramabad has performed a tourist attraction project in this site which is still under construction (Related photo) . I suppose the area will become one of the most attractive recreaational areas in this region by the next 2 years.
So many lakes and water ponds around Lorestan provide a natural habitat for water species along with native and immigrant birds.
I took this photo after a rainy day so the water and the reflex are not as beautiful as usually it is.
