Lake Zarivar or Zrewar (Kurdish: Zręwar or Zrębar, Persian: زریوار: Zarivar) is a lake in Western Iran.
The lake is situated in the Kurdistan Province and has a length of 5 km and a maximum width of 1.6 km and lies west of Marivan. The lake's water is sparkingly fresh and has a maximum depth of 6 m.
Zarivar lake is a major touristic attraction in the region. There is a great deal of folklore about the origins of this lake amongst the Kurdish people of the area.

The place looks very tranquil... very beautifully taken pic.
Would enjoy it more if you could add a small note guiding us about this wonderful lake..
