| This is the southern border of Iran and Iraq. in 1980 Saddam ordered his roaming tanks to cross the border and attack Iran. It was where and when an 8 year brutal war was imposed on Iranian people. Iranians resisted and stopped Saddam's war machine. Now, thanks god, there is no war between Iran and Iraq and there is no Saddam any more. But this Iraqi tank is still there waiting for us to read the history. I call this ruined tank a symbol of Saddam's defeat. |
